About Us

In April, 2006, I started my patchwork and stitchery business, "The Stitchery", in Princes Street, Dunedin. It was a lot of fun, for a few years, and then in September 2009, a "change of lifestyle" decision saw me purchase a gorgeous Bed and Breakfast business, in Maitland Street, Dunedin - "The City Sanctuary". So, my little shop closed it's doors, but I continue to trade online, and run weekend craft retreats at The City Sanctuary through the winter months.

Patchwork and stitching still is, and always will be, my passion - it is a joy to sit and quietly stitch at the end of the day. I am always on the lookout for new and inspiring patterns to bring you on this website, along with some fabric, threads and embellishments.
